Kilmelford Gold Project

The Kilmelford gold project focuses on exploration for Au-Ag mineralization associated with porphyritic diorite and explosion breccia complexes of Devonian age in the south west Highlands of Scotland. The licence, issued by the Crown Mineral Agents in December 2006, covers an area of 89 km2 and includes historic prospects at Lagalochan (Cu-Au-(Mo)) and Beinn nan Chaorach (Au-Ag). Both of these areas were previously investigated by BP Minerals in the early 1980s primarily for their copper potential.
